2004 stx - Selling Price

Hey guys, I got a great deal a while back on a close to perfect 2004.

My wife is pregnant so my car is being domesticated.

I'm trying to find the kbb value, but am having trouble on their site as stx is not listed as an option, also there are few available in the area on auto trader, cars.com etc.

is 10,500 too high?

can anyone give me a starting price?
Arizona,
72,000
great condition
great kingsman tires
Custom Grill
I have all the receipts for work, oil changes etc.

Is it a regular cab or extended cab? Also, does it have the XLT power package (pwr windows, locks, cruise, tachometer, etc.)? Or is it more like an XL with manual everything and no tach? If it has the power package, I'd price it like an XLT; if not, I'd price it close to what you'd see an XL selling for...which probably isn't much to be honest :o

It does not have the power package. It does have the extended cab (not the one large enough for seats, just about 12 inches longer for extra room in the back.

KBB says $10,025, so $10,500 is reasonable because of the grille and tires. You didn't mention the drivetrain. 4.6/5.4, 2WD/4WD?

Assuming this is a regular cab, 2WD, non-flareside, I would have to say in the $9000 to $10000 range to start. Add about $1000 for 5.4, and about the same for 4WD. This assumes that the engine/transmission is in good shape and maintained, and the rest of the vehicle is is good shape (no upholstery rips/tears, no body damage) and the title is not a salvage title.

In 2004, you had to get an XLT or higher to get a 5.4

That's the regular cab. Extended cab models; Supercab and Supercrew both have seats in the back. '04 - '08 reg cabs have 4 doors with 12 inches of room behind the seats.

Honestly, I'd say it's worth $7,000.00 to $9,000.00 if it's 2wd with the 4.6 assuming it's in good overall condition. I do think no matter what, $10,000.00 is a bit too much for a 6 year old reg cab. No to mention, after market stuff (grille, tries) doesn't usually factor anything price wise.

Yeah, not so much. Not saying it isn't worth that, but if it is it won't be becuase of the tires and grille.

I have a buyer paying $13,500.00 for my truck. 2008 4.2. 25k miles, class III two hitch, Truxedo lo pro tonneau cover, factory CD, A/C, still under warranty (Bumper to bumper 3yr / 36,000 miles, powertrain 5yr / 60,000 miles and roadside assist 5yr / 60,000 miles) Not a single scratch or dent, Smells brand new. So $7k to 8k seems fair for your truck.

You seriously can't get a KBB or similar printout?

Part of the price is also where the truck "lives/lived" Local market can make a difference. If 4x4, time of year can make a difference (hunting season).

Last NOV I paid 15k for my '06 STX- SCAB, 4x4, 6 1/2' bed, 45K miles, tow pkg, sliding back window, bed liner, cruise ctl, 4.6L & auto xmsn, and a few minor paint scratches-no dents and no rust. My bank said they would loan up to 21K for it, and KBB was around 17,500 then.
