I just got a call from the service station that pulled the transmission on my truck for it to be fixed. When they went to start the truck after it had sat for 3 weeks the battery was dead and they charged it. Now they got the transmission back in but the truck wont rev when the gas pedal is depressed, anyone have a clue?

Why was it sitting for 3 weeks to do the transmission? They could have fried the PCM when they charged the battery.

 

97k miles on the transmission when reverse decided it didn't want to work anymore so I took it into the local shop.

They pulled the transmission to get it to the shop that actually fixed it... ugh... not looking forward to hearing what's next.
