Question about Harley Headlights

There is a guy about 1 1/2 hours from me that is advertising some Harley Headlights for sell. He tells me they are factory harley's and they are almost new. Pretty decent price, and I would like to see what they look like on my truck at least. Anyways, is there any sort of markings or anything where I can tell if they really are Harley or just painted to look like it. I found the guy over Craiglist and I'm just worried about it being legit.

If you know what the OEM Harley part no. is, you can check it as it should be stamped on the housing.

Thats what I was wondering, I will look around and see if I can dig it up. In the mean time if someone knows off hand that would be great!

Thats what the labels on the boxes i received mine in from Tasca show. Also the OEM harleys have the black bulb cover instead of the chrome ones. Here is a pic of one.

Harleys will have the Ford logo in the lower front/inside corner. Knockoffs won't have the Ford logo, but painted stockers will. Like said and pictured above, the center reflector on a Harley light will be black.

Well that didn't work out. I was worried about it, but they ended up just being painted heads. They looked pretty good, but I just wasn't into them enough to buy them. I think I'm just going to stick with my chrome stockers. Good road trip though, got about 18 mpg all around.

Would these happen to be the same ones that were on STL craigslist?

Could be, I found them listed in Craiglist for Evansville, IN. I see someone advertising Harley Smoked taillights, but not headlights.

Eh I dunno, I looked my truck over and after seeing those painted black I think I will just stick with my chrome ones. I already have the chrome bumpers and wheels are silver and black so I think it flows well that way. I don't have any plans of tinting any of my lights so I think I will just keep it the way it is.
