Would this look good?

Need opinions on painting my gold honeycomb grill and the gold surround on the lariat wheels black. I have a WHITE 05 5.4L screw 2wd with a 2.5 level, 295/65/18 duratracs, and a black low profile tool box. the gold doesnt really match anything right now since the rest of the truck is white with chrome and black trim and bumpers. and if you think it would look good how would i go about this with minimal chipping to the grill and wheel surround thing? thanks

Pictures of your truck would be helpful... but it sounds like a good idea to me.

i actually painted my badges and grill, what i did was take the grill off the truck first, i tried to take the honeycomb part off the chrome surround but decided against it cause it seemed it would be a pita, so i got tape and just taped the whole chrome part off.. i didn't do any sanding and i just spray painted it black, sorry i don't have any pics but i have a grill guard so you couldn't see it to good but it made a huge difference cause i didn't have anything else that color on the truck, if it were me i would do it asap you won't regret it... mine has been on there for about 2 months and hasn't flaked at all and i have power washed it also and it is still fine...

I sanded and primed mine then sanded it smooth and painted it black with a black billit insert.
