Multiple misfire code ???

Just changed my plugs last weekend, and this morning i noticed my truck was idling rough at stops.I got home, popped the hood and looked at all the COPs to make sure none were loose,on plug tip good, etc.Upon checking cylinder COP #4(passenger side firewall),i noticed that i had accidentaly installed the COP on top of a wire plug next to it.I unbolted the cop, lifted the wire over the top of it(proper position),and retighned it.I then cranked it to see if that helped it,and i noticed my Check Engine light come on(still running rough).I then went back and removed the #4 COP again and noticed what appeared to be carb fluid droplets on the boot(maybe from soaking plugs during plug change).I dried it up best i could with a rag and reinstalled it.I then went to my local Advance Auto and had the engine code read and reset(Multiple cylinder misfire). The weird thing is that after i installed the #4 cop before i left to go to Advance,it ran fine on the way up there with no idlle trouble.Once he cleared the code,it didnt come on again and seems to have leveled out.Im concerned that it may come back and catch me off somewhere..Does anyone have an idea what this could be??Bad COP??
Should i have Dialectic greased the new plug tips before i installed them??
