3.73 to 4.10

hey guys, i had 3.73 gears in my truck and ran 13.3 at 105mph with a 2.0 60ft. so i thought i needed a better take of, so i went with 4.10s and ran 13.5 at 100mph with the same 60ft. should i go back to 3.73s or why do u guys think the 4.10 hurt my et and mph so much but didnt improve my 60ft.
by the way my truck is a 05 regular cab short bet with 5.4 fbo heads and comp cams spr stage 2 cam.

how long have you had them and did you break in the gears properly before testing them on the track?

the lower the gear ratio the faster take off but u lose your top end speed u can leave the 4:10 and add a tuner and if you all ready have one set a new tune for more power

is it hotter now than it was when you made your runs before??? how is the traction? are you spinning the tires off where you weren't before??

with 4.10's his top end may be higher but once he hits about 500rwhp (which he's not at now) then the 3.73's will benefit him once again

4.56 gears are what you should've gone with, IMO.
