2004 4.6; Shaky idle, engine light and possibly a vacuum leak

It's my dad's truck, took it to Autozone to have it read but the guy didn't tell me the P codes, just that it was a possible vacuum leak. Reset for 15 minutes, turn it over and the check engine's burning bright again. Oh, another thing; turned it over one time, it did the normal rev to about 1.1k and then when it tried to return to idle it died.
It's shaking at idle too, you can feel it and see it in open doors.

Any hints?
I'm gonna search around and try to get the P-codes from a different Autozone.
Thanks, fellers.

idk i would do the basic things first.

sppark plugs, clean throttle body, change fuel filter.

cleaning the throttle body made a world of difference on my 4.6

It probably is the plugs, I didn't think about that at all. Cleaning the TB definitely won't hurt it and there's a fuel filter for it is kicking around here somewhere so I can get that done too.

Thanks for the suggestions, G.
