Maybe I would think the easiest way would be take the seat brackets off yours and bolt them to them to the new seats, because the new truck floor board is flater then the 04-08. It would be neat to see

I think I may have poorly explained what I'd like to achieve. I want the increased cargo space that the 09-10 seating design allows. I want to duplicate that back end hump and remove the need for the extended metal arms that support my current seats.

Oh I see What your talking about yeah I like that. You could always do the seat lift mod to gain extra space.

I mainly want to get rid of those metal stubs that come out to support the seat.

i would think that it may be possible. you would have to find someone (translated guinea pig friend) to spend a day with to take some measurements and possibly do a trial swap to see where everything sits. i would think that at the very least you may have to design some rear pedistals to mount the rear of the seat to your floor and eliminate your current ones. or possibly utilize your current ones and cut them back to increase your floor room. so yeah you would need a guinea pig.

Do you think the 09-10 mount is actually an upward extension of the body itself?

I don't think it will work without extensive cab floor modification. Not worth it IMO.

The way the 09+ supercrew extends the cargo space is the cab is extended 6" over the 04-08 supercrew.

hey anthony i took a good peek at mine for you. the rear of the seat is bolted down to a raised section of the floor. not too sure if you could make it work or not. the raised section is approx. 8" deep. the small black tang that you can see extending down in the pic you posted is one of the mounts on the seat bottom so you can see basically whare it begins. anything beyond a look will require a "good" friend to help you out who owns a 9 or 10.
