Wiper Blade Inserts
Wiper Blade Inserts
I need to replace my wiper blades for my 07. They don't seem to sell the inserts anymore! I tried the ANCO blades and they looked terrible, way too bulky! What is everyone else doing?

They have these at autozone, and O'Reileys and such about 20 bucks a set... look fabulous, small footprint, and performance is excellent... best wipers I've had....
Bosch Icon... RainX also makes some like this...
I found that these one-piece blades work wonderfully... and when the other frame-type blades would fail at high speeds... these consistently work well...
good luck!

I like the Rain-X Latitudes as well. I replaced the 2-year old stockers with them and like the performance at highway speeds (the airfoil keeps them planted on the windshield). I don't use my wipers much since I use Rain-X on the windshield, but when I need the wipers, I want them to work!

Look at the Valeo ultimate wipers. You can find them on tire rack for a buy one get one free($20+shipping+tax) or try ebay($9.99 each for gen2's free shipping). I've tried several brands and so far I like the Valeo's the best. I have not tried them on the truck yet but will be soon. They usually last a year to 1.5 years on the wifes car.
I've tried the below wipers
Rain x latitudes(decent...too pricey)
PIAA's (good but didn't last long enough for the price)
Silblades (mixed results...1 pair good other pair garbage..lasted about 1 year)
Standard Bocsh (a good standard wiper)
Tripledge(junk)
Valeo Ultimates (good wiper at a decent price depending where you get them)
Lift off the windshield! How fast were you going?!! I routinely drive 75-80mph down the turnpikes and have never had the slightest bit of "lifting" occur with the Rain-x's, heck I really didn't have an issue with the stockers either.
Honestly I don't know what's up with them cause the passenger side wiper is starting to smear some and they are only around 3 months old. Maybe my set isn't up to par or something since there's a lot of people that give them good reviews. Oh well I think I'm going to stick with Valeos from now on anyway.I agree the stock wipes were pretty good. They were wiping great at 2 years old until the rubber ripped on one of them.
Yup, my stockers were fine except the ice/snow cycles during this last winter caused the blade to start tearing.
