Gargle Noise After Truck if Turned Off???

So, Ive searched and searched but couldnt find anything that applied to my question. Everytime that I turn my truck off, if you're anywhere near the engine, then you can heard a gargle sound. I can only assume this is coming from the cooling system somewhere. I bought 2006 FX4 new and it has actually done this since I drove it off the lot. Once, I asked the mechanics at Ford and they told me that it was normal and not to worry. It has never given me an any sort of problem, but I was just curious. Funny thing is, last month I took my truck for the water in the passenger floor board deal for the 4th time and they mentioned the noise to me. Said that I would need some type of hose replacement that costs $200. Anyway, I was just curious if anyone else's truck has this issue. Thanks

Mines done that ever since I had it. I actually can hear it when I sit in the truck. It has something to do with the heater unit I always imagined.

x2 on the condensor or it could be rad coolant. My old 88 Ranger would gargle from time to time from the thermostat opening after i shut the truck off. Just perfect timing that id hear it open after the truck was turned off

My 99 did this all the time. But as murphy's law says,"when demonstrated for a repairman any appliance will function perfectly." I could never get it to do that when my truck was in for other service. I was told by to two technicians that it had something to do with the heater core. I don't know how much truth there is to that, but they told me not to worry about it so i never did.
