Parking Brake Removal
Parking Brake Removal
Anybody see any issues that may result if I completely remove my parking brake components. Seems like they are more of a weakness than a benefit...I have to get them fixed anyways so I would just rather remove them completely
legally you need an emergency brake for.... emergency's. If your hydraulic brakes fail you need to have a mechanical backup so you dont smash into people. If you lose brakes and crash, and when they inspect your vehicle find your secondary system has failed you could be in a large pile of it....

if you do take them off you should keep them, and give them to whoever you sell it to.
I am registered in Michigan so no inspections. Ill keep the parts for when I sell....it just doesn't make sense to me to have it with all the beach driving I do it will bind up again within weeks, I wouldn't trust it to stop me in an emergency anyhow. Ill just add it to the other non kosher things like my tint, lift, horns, programmer, technically none of those would pass inspection if I required one.
