OEM 5" oval step bar misadventure - Need mounting hardware

Hi everybody !

Last week, i had a little misadventure with one of my OEM oval step bar.
I run over a manhole cover that was sitting completely in the middle of the street and i saw it at the last second because of the car in front of me, couldn't avoid it.

My front wheel make it bounce very hard under my truck and hit my driver side step bar bracket. Now, one of the bracket is unusable.

I was asking myself if Ford were selling replacement brackets and if anybody here might be aware of a part number ?

And, an other thing, as i were removing my step bar from the truck, i discovered that the step bar itself was ok. The only thing i was not sure about was for those kind of "bolts anchors" that goes into the step by the underside. They came out with the bolts when i remove the brackets. Do you think they're replaceable ?

Because maybe i will just have to buy a bracket and some of thoses "anchors".
It would be great.

here's some pics to help you figure out what i'm talking about:

Thanks in advance !

I don't think Ford sells just the brackets. I think they will say you can only buy the complete assembly and you're in for sticker shock on that. See if you can find a local wrecking yard and find one a step bar assembly from a damaged truck.

If you find where to get these, I want to drop mine an inch so would be interested to know if they make a drop bracket too.

if you can get the brackets i noticed the rivnut fastener also pulled out from the step bar you should be able install a new one but make sure its good quality one so it don't pull out when your standing on it. the bracket you might be able to get one at a junk yard if you cant order individual pieces .

After some searching over the net, i've found a few things:

Tasca sell the 2 sides OEM set with all the mounting brackets and bolts for $412.50
Part number: 6L3Z-16450-CD
They also selling it from their ebay store (there's somes pictures):
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=230143081927

But i still would like to only have to buy the bracket itself.
So i've talked with a friend of mine who work at a ford dealer. He told me the part number that i was looking for was: 4L3Z-16N470-AA
So i told him to order one for me. Price is around 88.00$ Canadian over here.
I should have it in a day or two. I'll let you know if it's the right one !

And as i was looking on ebay, i've discovered thoses plastic replicas of our OEM 5" chrome oval step bar:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=300363508509
But i'm not too confident about thoses...

Most of the people on here aren't very fond of running boards or step bars.. If you keep your eyes peeled in the classified section or 2010 section, when people buy new trucks that's usually the first thing they get rid of. I got a set of 5" oval tubular OEM's on here from a 2010 brand new for $150.00 and YES they fit my 04.. GL

Finally, i just got the bracket from my local Ford dealer for 70$ + tx. Mounting hardware's included (bolts and clips for mounting the bracket to the truck).
I still will need some rivnuts under the step bar in order for me to put back the bolts that holds the step bar to the bracket. I don't have the tool to put these rivnuts in. I think i'll pay a visit to a local body repair shop.
