Truck got broken into

Sometime between last night and this afternoon someone decided to break into my truck. They started out trying to shove something through the keyhole, messing up the keyhole, bucket for the handle, and now none of the lights for keyless entry light up. Since that didnt work out too well for them, they decided to just break out my front window and crawl through. Musta hurt like a **** since when i found it there was blood all over the front seat and center armrest. Anyway, they went on to rip out my Pioneer AVIC-D3 and ruffle through my console and glovebox to find my Surefire flashlight. Im pissed to say the least... this is the 4th time weve had trouble at our house here since we moved in September. Both of my parents cars have been broken into as well and we also caught someone trying to steal our mailbox one day. List of stuff screwed up on the truck due to this is starting to add up as i start to clean it out slowly, but its still a complete mess (doesnt help that there is blood and fingerprint dust all over the cab...)

Probably opened the ashtray looking for stuff, saw my gryphon and thought "WTF is that?!?"

I kinda thought that the 5 deer rifle shells would have been a deterrent as well... Guess not. Next mod is going to be a nice security system so if they try this again i can come out packin heat to make it really worth their time

Sorry about your luck. I loathe thieves. Worst type of scum on the planet.

yeah, thats what i was planning on (even before this happened... my last car got broken into as well). doing that then getting a train horn to hook up to it as well. then with all that room inside the dash, a little air horn as well. make it loud as hell.

That actually sounds like a good idea. I doubt any thief would have the ***** to steal anything if a train horn is blaring off.

Sorry to hear that. Happened to me about three months ago. Broke the window, when the door wasn't even locked. They took a $100 dollar GPS... funny thing is there was a $250 pair of Maui Jim sunglasses sitting right under the GPS, never touched them. Theres still glass inside the door, have to tear that apart soon.

Man, that sucks. Sorry to hear about that. I am fortunate that I haven't had to go through this. (knocking sound...) I do have thoughts from time to time of how I would react to finding someone going through my truck and if I'd have the ***** to pull the trigger. I'm sure I'd want to.
