CRE Rocker Flares?

Anyone seen or have these? Interesting concept, not sure how I feel about the looks though. I got these wide tires on my truck, and really need some sort of protection, but don't care for the looks of mud flaps nor fender flares.

Ehh, they look like a chopped off running board to me. What about 3M clear bra or the like on the rocker panels(won't do anything for dings but would help with paint chips.

my buddy had the clear bra on his superduty. it worked pretty good, but it wont help the sides of your truck....i have some chips on the side of my truck from my tires.

I agree, that the clear bra would probably work, but as stated it's not protecting anything but the rocker panel. Unfortunately these tires have the ability to throw much higher than that. I was just thinking that maybe these wouldn't stick out as bad as Fender Flares or Mud Flaps. Maybe wrong, I'm still not sold on the look's of them, but the protection may overpower the looks.

My only other idea is making some basic round tube nerf bars, and mounting them in close to the bottom of the rocker panel and use that as protection and partly a step. My dad had something like this on his 99 TJ and it really helped out a lot, and didn't look out of place.

I like the extend-a-fenders. Those are the only fender flares I have come across that really look great.

I like the looks, but I think they are a little large looking. I'm afraid it would make my tires look smaller. I also like the look of the tires being at a wider stance, but I guess not so much suffering the consequences of it.

I'd be all over it as rocker guards if they were steel and not ABS plastic
