Galleria/Houston Service Center Referral

The dealership wants about 200 to change the tranny fluid. A local one I go to wants about 180. Can anyone refer me to a GOOD/reputable/quality service center that will probably offer a better deal? I also have to change out my other drivetrain fluids as well. Thanks in advance.

That is really high, I paid about $135 at my dealer for a flush. Be careful when you are shopping the lube center places. Most just suck the fluid out, they don't have a machine that the fluid cycles through. I would call around to other dealers.

Try the Midas on Westheimer, by Edloe.

(713) 965-9280 .... 3607 Westheimer Rd

Ask for Ted, he's the manager. I've been taking my stuff to him for over ten years. 100% straight shooter. He will do it right, AND at a great price. Not sure how low he can go, but he is always competitive, and does quality work.

IMHO, I'd rather spend an extra $20 to know that it was done right.

just went to Tommy Vaughn Ford. Ridiculous pricing all around town. I figured I'll just take it to somewhere they have a good attitude and aptitude. They were also able to get me in today. Other places didn't have time. Spent a bunch. Just don't have time nor do I want to put in the effort of it all. Specifically the tranny don't have a machine to flush the fluid. I might tackle the xfer case myself and maybe the front diff when I have time.
