Which engine, how many miles, and any mods? What is its maintenance history?

I'm interested to see what people recommend for this as well.

My truck did this same thing today, I was running about 45mph and got into the accelerator some and it had a misfire feel to it. As soon as I let off the gas it was fine and as long as I eased on the throtle it was fine. I have a 5.4 with 150k miles and just exhaust. I was going to order some plugs and start looking into doing the throtle body, MAF etc.... clean up. This is the first time I've ever had any issue with the truck, but it is due for some maintenance as it's been awhile.

Have you done the plugs before?

Sounds like the same problem I had with mine....Would misfire really bad under hard accleration (WOT). Didn't have the time to play around with it so I took it to the dealership and they changed the plugs, updated the PCM and it runs like new. I had just under 50k miles when I had it done.
