Studder/shudder --Solved

I recently puchased an 2005 F150 5.4 4x4 with 41Kmi and noticed a shudder when in overdrive and going light on the throttle. It was bothered the hell out of me.
Then my transmission when out and was completely replaced under warranty with a reman. I though this would clear up the studder, but no it was still there. Then I got a recall notice for the brake boost line, took it in and also had the spark plugs replaced along with a pcm reflash. This solved the problem. The truck now drives great. They said coils were fine and could not find any codes so it had to be a low grade misfire due to a bad plug. Thanks to all of you that write on this forum..it really helped me with this issue.

Had exact same problems. I have 151K on truck and had replaced plugs around 105K. I ordered the COP's from uneeksupply on EBAY for $114.95 shipped and installed this weekend and problem has disappeared. Definitely check plugs and coils before you look into transmission issues.

Here's the link COP's on Ebay. About a 1/2 hour to 1 hour job.
