factory part #

can anyone tell me the factory part number for the EOT (engine oil temperature) sensor in the oil pan of the 5.4l. i need a new one and no-one can cross reference what i need.

If I ever need a part number I call the parts dept and ask them about the part and price. Then I ask for the part number.

thats the problem, both dealers show know such part, what they show is a coolant temp sensor in the oil pan

My understanding is that some F150s do NOT have the oil temp sensor. I just wanted to chime in and make sure you aren't spinning your wheels. Get up under that rig, and look on the passenger side of the oil pan. If there is no sensor there, that might explain why the dealer can't find it for your model year. I hope I am not adding confusion.
