Spent all day fishing with my kids yesterday. Sorry for the delay. I'll try to get on it tonight after I take my wife to get her Mother's Day gift.

LOL...you're not going to believe this. My buddy called me...He got hold of a bay boat. I took a half day of work off and we were out fishing all day. I haven't forgotten about the pics yet. I promise.

I'll update the original post with these pics. It's not highly detailed, but I think you can figure it out.

This is the original Mark VIII fan.

With a silver sharpie, mark about a 1 inch perimeter onto the efan shroud around the outside of the fan blades. The distance is approximate. If in doubt, mark a larger perimeter and trim back if needed.
When the marking meets the edge, bring the line straight up towards the ground.

Then cut with a dremel (wear long sleeves and safety glasses) The scrap pieces should look like this.

You're going to have to take out the stock shroud.

This is where you do some of the fittings on your own. I don't have the nut/bolt/washer sizes, but you will be able to get a good idea by the pictures.

Lay the truck shroud small side opening down, and lay the efan in the stock shroud to fit.
The efan ledge should be making contact with the truck shroud. Fit it to your liking and drill with a 3/8 bit in the spots on my pictures, but more important, so it catches the efan ledge and does not interfere with the fan blades.

Nuts/bolts/washers on top, zip ties on bottom.

Looks like I lost a lower zip tie. I'm going to have to fix that.

I'm not too happy with the sp2 location, but it works for now.

Glad that's over. Now back to worry free fishing!

For the record, the purolater was on there when I bought it. It will be going back to Motorcraft at the next oil change.

Nothing wrong with purolator. I think I read somewhere they they're the ones that make Motorcraft filters anyways.

I haven't had a chance to get a good reading on MPG because of all the 4x4 soft sand driving I've been doing. Response is crisper though.
