Dash Removal

Hey guys im gonna get started on doing the shifter console swap on the Girlfriends 06 and was wondering how hard is it to remove the dash so that she can get it painted before we start swapping everything out. The truck is an 06 F150 STX.

Thanks for any help.

Not too hard...just tedious. Takes lots of pictures and label wires and organize all bolts as its easy to forget where they go during reassembly. Keep in mind there will be some rewiring steps involved. Check out FX4&HARLEY or FX4andHARLEY (can't remember which)for an excellent write-up. FYI, I have PICS posted on my page as well..

Check out one of the heater core removal DIY's ,there are some good pointers there.
Baggies and label all the screws/clips/fasteners for each section/component. X2 on pictures.
Good luck
