My truck is running rough this morning and the check engine light is on. I spent $45.00 to find out the code is P2107 and I need to take it to the "dealership". Does anyone have any idea what this is or what could be causing it? The shop that ran the computer said it was a throttle actuator.

clean your throttle body and see if it fixes it.

 

Why did you pay 45 bucks? Unless you are in California or Canada, Autozone reads codes free.

What year and engine? How many miles?

 

The engine is a 5.4 liter. 82K miles. No autozone around at the time, didn't know how serious it was. I was out in the sticks, bummer...
