P0705 + p2106 2004 f150
Just bought a 2004 f150 w/ 60k, and 50 miles later these two codes came up, not sure if the seller had a way of hiding this or if it is just horrible luck.. Anyways, What I have gathered is
P0705 Transmission Range Sensor A Circuit (PRNDL) Input
P2106 Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited Power (apparently this one is normally accompanied by another code)
The truck drives fine, but right before the CEL came on I did feel a very slight slip or loss of power, going about 30mph, if the codes didn't come up 5 seconds later I would not have thought anything of it. Also, this did not happen for the next 10 miles I drove after receiving the initial codes.
Anyways, do P0705 and P2106 relate? Trying to figure if there is likely one or two problems.

The P0705 indicates that the PCM didn't really know what position the shifter was in, and to keep you from killing yourself or anything else went into fail safe which is where the P2106 came from.
I'd inspect the wiring going to the MLP sensor on the side of the trans. I've seen a few MLPs cause this before, but they were very intermittent and hard to catch messing up.

Just trying to figure out what I would be looking for on the transmission, so I know which wires to follow. If I find a defect with the wire, is it something that can be taped? Or need be replaced?
Is it more likely to be the wire than the actual sensor?
