Is it easy to change coil and boots for spark plug?

Is it easy to change coil and boots for spark plug?

Have 07 5.4. is easy to to change out just coil and COPs. Having the dealer replace the plugs in 2 days, but I can see them wanting to also change my coils and COPs to make some extra $$$ on my account.

I doubt they will suggest changing the COPs. They are long life and you would be getting engine codes if they were bad. However, the boots are a different matter. They are made of rubber and tend to crack or get brittle from the heat, if you have a lot of miles. They are expensive at the dealer, about $100 for the set, but they normally do not charge extra labor as they are taking them off anyway, to get to the plug.

I would say this too, if they suggest changing COPs just to change them when they are not bad, then find another dealer.
