How do you adjust camber on a 2006 4x4? Local shop said i needed camber bolts kit. I thought you adjusted it with the lover A arm mount, witch they never messed with. They checked it and said i needed bolts.

Camber and Caster Adjustment
Using alignment equipment and the manufacturer's instruction, measure the caster and camber.
NOTE: New lower arm-to-frame mounting bolts must be installed with cam bolt kits to allow for adjustment of the arm in the frame slot.
NOTE: The rear lower control arm-to-frame bolt must be reversed in order to install the alignment kit to allow access for a torque wrench.
Remove the nuts and bolts from the LH and RH lower control arms at the frame attachments.
Discard the nuts and bolts.
Loosen the LH and RH stabilizer bar-to-frame bracket nuts. Support the stabilizer bar.
Install the cam bolt kit(s) and snug the nut(s).
To adjust the caster and camber, refer to the following chart.
Adjustments that require moving the front and the rear of the lower arm should be made equally.

Increase caster In Out
Decrease caster Out In
Increase camber In In
Decrease camber Out Out
Increase caster and camber simultaneously In —
Decrease caster and camber simultaneously Out —
While holding the cam bolt, tighten the nut(s).
Recheck the caster and camber settings and adjust as necessary.
Check and, if necessary, adjust the front toe.
Tighten the LH and RH stabilizer bar-to-frame bracket nuts to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
Set the final torque to 300 Nm (222 lb-ft) on the nuts only.

Got work done
Took it to a another shop, they didnt need camber bolts. I was wondering what the factory spec was. I got a
-1.0 left and a -1.2 right camber
6.1 left and a 6.2 right caster
0.12 left and a 0.09 right toe
Is this right???? Thanks to all

According to my recent alignment sheet these are acceptable specs.
-1.0 to 0.6 camber
left 3.5 to 5.5 caster 3.9 to 5.9 right
-.03 to .18 toe
-1.0 to 0.6 camber
left 3.5 to 5.5 caster 3.9 to 5.9 right
-.03 to .18 toe

I have an 07 with camber issues myself. 3rd alignment done yesterday and all is good again, but i have inner tire wear and a definite lean in at the top of the tire. you can see it by looking at it. They dont want to adjust camber because the spec says its good.
Your camber should be almost perfectly plumb (vertical). Take it to a different shop and ask if they can check it.
