Help guys!
Ok..
So today I go to start my truck and it took 10seconds to start(not battery, its a new optima yellow) After it started it barely ran, I limped down to discount auto parts and we read the code and it had two.
1. Misfire Cylinder #5
2. Bad O2 sensor-STUCK RICH
Ok, so I buy one new 02 sensor and interchange each one through process of elimination as it didnt say which one, each time I start the truck it would do the same thing. Great, so its not the 02 sensor.
Now Im driving back to discount and man its sputtering, barely running, no power and I see white smoke pour out the exhuast as I blip the throttle...GREAT!
So, Im thinking its either...Bad Fuel Pressure Regulator, bad injector, or bad head gasket...
Has this happened to any of you? I cant drive it anymore and Ill have to have it towed to a shop....
Truck is a 2005 F150 FX4 5.4L with 72K....

Just got off the phone with my friend, when he ran my VIN he said it came up with a note on extended warrenty on the fuel injectors. NICE!
Man I hope thats it!
He said, if i bend a rod, they have to replace it since the faulty fuel inj would have caused the hydrolock.

Well, injector#5 was stuck wide open.
New injector, plugs, dist cap, change tranny oil, brake fluids, transfer case, oil. $650. I needed to do the maintence anyway. Had other plans for the money...o well.

lol, no distributor cap. I meant the fuel injectors. Typed to fast.
The BS is that they didnt change the plugs under the warrenty of the fuel inj....Im pissed. That and this truck has been at the shop more than any other vehicle Ive owned and ive owned 7 different cars. This is my LAST Ford....
