Another thing I was gonna add. I HATE when I get blinded by other people. I know Msall took his out because of this. When I reaimed them I went to where they are supposed to be stock and then even lower. I have had them in for probably 4 months and I haven't been flashed once. Just be sure to reaim them plenty low.

As for the light of the bulb moving in and out, I don't have a problem with how it works. When my lows are on they aren't blinding by any means. When I turn my highs on I can see just as far if not farthur than my stock bulbs. With my lows on it shoots out just enough to light the way in front of you bright as day. When I turn them on with my lows and go stand in front, I have to go down to about 3 feet off the ground to reach the "glare" spot of the headlights. Anything above that and all you see is a white glow. Hope this helps. I'm just trying to point out that they may not be "perfect". But they go way above factory without much added glare at all if aimed properly. -Brent

Sounds good. But the glare isnt actually the main beam, its the little pieces of scattered light. You can aim the main beam as far down as possible, but little pieces of light will still scatter in random directions.

Hey Brent can you do me a favor: can you park your truck 25 ft from a wall or garage in pitch darkness and take a picture of your light output on the door? Flash off on the camera and standing next to the truck. I need a 04-08 F150 with HIDs to do this for me. Thanks.

Alright. With the high or low beams on? The lows seem to cut the light off better than the highs. They just go everywhere lol.

The lows would be more pertinent if he is looking for the cutoff line.

When can more light be bad? i love using my hid's in all terrains. highway just as much. the white light is much "easier" on the eyes. where i live there are lots of wildlife. its VERY common to see them on the road. having the spot lights/driving lights is a bonus for that. same ordeal with HID's.

Well if you could get a shot of both that'd be great.

That is only the case with very cheap HID kits. If you get one called Bi-Xenon then both hi and low are HID. The was it does the high is there is a magnet that when you engage the high beams it pulls the bulb back aiming the light higher.

55w in both. You have the square fogs and wont have a problem.
