F150 4x4 pulled out by Toyota Tacoma
My brother owns a Tacoma and is a member of a Tacoma forum. He sent me this link a couple of weeks ago. If you look at the pics, the Tacoma has mud tires on it and the F150 has street tires on it. No wonder he got stuck!! Trying to go through mud like that with those tires was asking for trouble.
I pulled a 3/4 ton Dodge 4x4 out of the ditch this past winter because of snow. We all have our bad days.

Them Tacomas are known for being pretty good off roaders. Can't say I'm surprised with the Ford having stock tires. Not to mention the mud tires and the Taco's much much lighter weight.
...But man, gettin' pulled out by a 4 cyl. mini...
I'd be embarrassed no matter what tires I had. Just shouldn't have gone mudding lol.

That 150 looks like it had Pirellis on it which will cause you to get stuck on dry pavement let alone muddin.
Still, it would be embarrassing to get pulled out my a 4 cylinder Tacoma.

Little vehicles often work quite well for recovery vehicles. My jeep has pulled out many full size trucks and other vehicles.

btw, that style of Taco isn't exactly small. The Taco has been on steroids for the past 6-7 yrs now.
have to say though that those KM2's did get themselves a good selling point. If they can help a Taco get enough grip to yank a 5,500 to 6,000 lbs Supercrew that has laid frame...they must work pretty good

Its simple really. When a vehicle is just past the point of being mobile and is "stuck" it can require very, very little help to get it moving again.
I've seen many times a stuck vehicle be pushed out by one or two PEOPLE.
