FX4 taking shape
FX4 taking shape
When I got rid of my Roush powered 04 Supercrew I picked up an 06 FX4 that I had my eye on for a while. Red and dark shadow grey, sunroof, power rear slider, step side, yada, yada, yada, and only 19000 miles.
I have installed a 2" leveling kit, soft tonneu (only cause I could not find a hard tonneau locally that would fit the step side 6.5 bed), made a few suttle power modifications, and today I put my aftermarket wheels and 315/70/17's on it. It really changed the looks of the truck. I am running the stock exhaust and unbelieveably I am getting used to,and liking the quietness of this truck.
Like the flow through console too,but I keep reaching up to the steering column looking for the gear selector..miss the power but not the whine and exhaust...pics in a day or two..
First road trip in it coming up next weekend when my daughters JO Volleyball team travels to Louisville Ky. for a tournament. Really looking forward to see how the truck performs

I did but the ride sucked big time. I do have a need to load the bed at times when I haul firewood and such so I decided to go the other way..
