not yet, i just moved back to Los Angeles and I've been going back and forth with interviews and such. as soon as i settle ill be going to the dealer. although the guy told me it didnt sound like a plug problem. i will be changing them either way

I had a very similar problem that lasted about 10 days. It occured when I would downshift to get on the freeway or pass. Just start bucking right after the downshift. Would not do it from a standstill if I floored it, only on a downshift. I ordered new coils and before I got them and could install them, it went away.

I have even wondered if it was battery related. How strong is your battery?

i just bought a red top optima a few months ago. and its the second time it happened. it happened 3 months ago in Alabama. The guy told me it might be throttle related but he would have to do a diagnostic.

If the coils or plugs failed you might get a code in the computer....Have you done a code check....?
