Has anyone else had this happen ?
Truck was wormed up, just filled up 93 oct. 10 miles before, temp. outside mid 20*, coming onto the interstate about 35-40 mph, road has an incline about 15-20*, excellerated to murge, truck acted as if it hit the rev limiter & the check eng. light began to flash. let off the gas, and then excellerated again to full throttle & drove that way maybe a mile, let of the gas, excellarated again, maybe another mile or so, and it cleaned itself up!
Sofar it seams to be running fine.
Any thoughts?

Hello! How are you this fine evening, sir?

You do know that running 93 octane in a truck tuned for 87 will pooker yer power @ higher rpms, right? Run 87 only if stock & not tuned. Anything else is a waste of $$$.

Wellsir - If I'd hazard a guess, you need to de-worm yer truck, just fer starters:

Worms is BAD NEWS, man - they done kilt my dawg

After thaaaaat - bad gas perhaps - a tinge of moisture? Keep an eye on it - try to get any pending codes pulled & post them up ....

Not much to go on if an isolated occurrance ...

Good luck!

As stated 93 without a tuner is not going to do anything for you. Did you make sure the gas cap was on tight.

Just so I have this right, you all are saying that if I have a stock truck with no performance tune that premium grade is a waste. No benefit at all?

Yeah, if you get that kind of action after filling up and running, its worth calling the gas station to inquire about other complaints. Gas stations hear it pretty good when they deliver a bad batch to customers...

93 without a tune is a waste...

I had my check engine light flash one time when getting on the highway, realized my Over-Drive was off, turned it back on and the light stopped blinking

Yep that's what their saying.

I have a tuned truck and I only run 89 because that is what my tune was written for. A stock truck is tuned by factory for 89.
