sure is a nice truck... but, you only live once! Get what you want, and be happy!

Tell the guy you need a few to go look at some other trucks to drive or whatever... go drive them, and if you feel like that would make you happy... Do it.. and Mod the heck out of it haha

Ultimately its your call, if you really want a diesel and its in the budget than go for it.

but i would just put an 8" lift on and throw some 37/38's on those rockstars and call it a day.

IDNC- If i were to even condsider lifting it (which i have) I would definately get 24" rockstars to satisfy my needs. haha. That is what i was going to do to the diesel. I dunno we will see how it pans out with this buyer.
Thanks for the input guys

I don't think you should get rid of it but it's your truck, do with it what you want. I know I've wanted to get rid of my truck for a newer 150 but I just can't see me parting with it it's like part of the family.

Whatever you decide to do, good luck.

It looks like you've already made up your mind so trying to apply logic to the situation is only going to further confuse you! Therefore (and although I don't necessarily agree with the decision!) get what you want and dont have any regrets. You'll be lighter in the pocket for a while but at least you'll have what you wanted and that in itself will make you happy. One day you'll wake up and be like me: 40-something, with two kids, a huge housepayment and not able to afford anything as cool as diesel that I dont need!
Good luck!

do whats gonna make you happiest truck wise. i know if somebody offered me the right number outta nowhere, for me bout 10k, i would sell it in a hearbeat to buy a 95 f250 7.3 powerstroke. but thats just me. btw my pops has a 2004 duramax 2500hd and has never had one single problem with it. bought it new in 04 and has about 70,000 mi on it now. not one problem. just all power. that thing will eat some rubber. IMO the 2004 my body style is the best ever chevy style made. except late 80's styles. but its all bout what makes ya happy bro
