Spark Plug Gap

I just got a set and there at .30 is that right? i have a 08 5.4

It should be on a sticker on the underside of the hood. .042-.046 is the range.

Gap them towards the lower side because the gap will widen over time. If they're gapped on the higher end, this will take the plugs out of spec and could cause idle problems.

can i run them at .30 and get it retuned?

No. they need to be gapped properly or you'll eventually have idle problems.
