Well you certainly arent going to be able to haul much else in that little bed.

I thought about getting one for my 6.5' bed but then I wouldnt be able to haul my atv.

yeah. you aint gonna have no storage room in the bed no more. but more of the problem ive found the hard way is that you cant see jack**it when you got a toolbox on there. ive had hard feelings with a BMW owner before cuz i coulnt see a little car at all behind me when i went to backup..toolbox was thrown off of my truck the very next day.

If you are not too concerned with storage space I would get one..... They just look really good on all trucks IMO

I've only had side porkchop boxes on the last two trucks... I am not going to put them in this truck though because it has the cargo management. I was riding with my friend in his Integra a few years back behind an 04-08 F-150 and we figured the driver of the truck could not see us.

Do like I did and get the DU-Ha under seat tool box and you won't lose any bed space. Plus all your stuff is IN your truck and you don't have to get into the bed to get to your stuff.!

I have a crossover gull wing box in mine and whackemnstackem is right "you cant see jack**it when you got a toolbox on there", I finally installed an aftermarket rearview camera. If you get one you should really consider a "low profile" type.

If you don't want to loose the length, you could look at a Pork Chop box.

I have one installed in my '06 SCrew

Pork chop side box
Weather Guard 170-5-01 ( driver's side black )
Dimensions: H: 19 1/2 W: 9 1/4 L: 46 3/4
Weight (lbs.): 36
Cubic feet: 2.1

I carry way too much stuff in there.

alreay have the box

i already have the toolbox it is a uws dplate singlelid. took it out of my dodge when i trded it in. as for visability thats what side mirrors are for. rear view mirrors are for checking on the kids in the back seat and the wife putting on her make-up lol. i just want some opinions on weathe it would look goofy on that short of bed.

You could put it in there without attaching it and see how it looks.

as for visibility thats what side mirrors are for.... they help but aint always a guarentee. i'd recomend either a pretty low profile toolbox or one like my pops has in his 2500HD very similar to this one http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...m-img_0670.jpg
