Running/driving light suggestions

Back in the truck game after 20 years in sedans.

I'm going to set up running/driving lights on the truck (07 s-crew, non-foglight front bumper) as a proactive don't-want-to-redecorate-the-truck-with-deer-guts-at-night thing.

I don't have a light bar and will probably end up putting the lights in either the grill or in the chin spoiler openings. I know that KC, Hella, and PIAA all make good products but would like to hear from you folks. Suggestions? If the lights go in the grill, how much loss or diffusion will I get from the lights shining through the honeycomb?

Actual experience only, pretty please

Thanks!
Brad

LightForce makes great lights with interchangeable lenses. I'd suggest getting a bull bar or light bar if you want to get the most out of them. The small space above the chin spoiler isn't large enough for most round lights.

Hmm. Both are a definite maybe.

I'm a real estate agent and haul clients around in the truck. I'm tryint to keep it as "un-offroadish" looking as possible. Anything in a rectangular that would mound in the chin (or at least let me recess them slightly into the opening) and that has decent light quality/quantity?

i bought some small 55watt driving lights from advance auto el-cheapos and mounted them in the opening. there is already bolts there you can take out and mount them (no drilling) or make custom brackets. ill get pics tomorrow for you out put is alot better course you could always buy more expensive lights but buy the cheaper to mock up and see if you like the look

When I had my 2005, I fabbed up and installed a light bar behind the grill with a set of Hella 550s and was quite happy with them. Pics of the light bar are in the link in my sig and another member has posted a really good step by step on how to build it here.
