Leveling Kits

My brother is currently looking into getting a 2" leveling kit for his 2005 FX4. I have no ideas or recommendations for him conserning these kits. So, if y'all could help us out it would be greatly appreciated. Like who is the best company, pros/cons on these kits, etc...

1.5" Autospring Powder Coated

I went with the Autospring 1.5" Leveling kit. I have read here that some people were having trouble with the 2" or greater versions from Autospring, where the upper control arm was rubbing on their coils. I called Autospring today to verify this and he said that they have since redesigned their spacer.

My kit was order this last Saturday and is in the mail now. After and during the installation I'll take a few pics and post them.

I went with the 1.5" because I just wanted alittle lift in the front and thought my truck has to much of a factory rake. I don't carry alot of weight nor pull any kind of trailer, so I'm not to concerned with the back sagging more. About the most I would put in the truck is maybe bails of pine needles or some straw.

In the meantime, just do a search for leveling kits and read what others have issues with good or bad and draw your own conclusion.

Not to sound assish or anything.

Yeah, he wants the level look. 33's will be the biggest tire he can use, I assume?

I have a 2.5 hell bent on my 04 with 33's and I love the stance. You can fit 35's with a leveling kit.
