true, but that's why I suggested swapping them to see if the code follows. O2 sensors aren't cheap and it would suck to buy one, only to find out that something else is causing it. It's very easy to throw a ton of money at a seemingly small problem if you haven't diagnosed it.

My Cobra kept throwing o2 codes ALL the time, but it was for both banks. I probably went thought a half a dozen sensors before I figured out I had a crack in a connector that was letting water in.

Okay guys, I just got them switched over. I'll find out in the morning.... oh the anticipation I'm hoping its the sensor that way I don't have to delve into wiring

After swapping them the the code did move to bank 2, sensor 2; its odd though because it took it nearly a day and a hundred miles to throw the code again..

Would it be wise to just replace both?

Being the cheap bastard that I am, I would just replace the one o2 first. They don't do anything but monitor the cats anyways.

I'm not going to complain not having to spend another 60 bucks is okay by me too!

I would get two new O2's and change the FRONTS - then replace the rears with the 2 used ones from the front. Keep the last good one for a spare.

This is what I hate about emmissions... but glc, you are correct.

I did this similar thing to my other truck.
