quick Q's? what next/ black headlights or

I been looking for a while on gettin some black headlights the Hella style ones, which on summit are like $260 new, and Ive read up on them some people complaining about them leaking but to me thats not an issue considering I had to deal with that problem with my old 2000 S10 with one of the stock lights, just add some silicone around the inside bead,

anywho quick Qs what do they go for anywhere else, I found some for sale supposly new in box and are Hella's for $100 bucks, that seems pretty resonable right?, Its either $100 on some headlights or go ahead and order up some high flow cats, which I was just goin to wait later on since Ive already done exhaust, was goin to do the black headlights, then look for an Fx2 grill and paint black,.. any info? thanks

I have an all white STX, blacked tinted windows, I think the black headlights would look pretty good on it, as well as a black FX2 grill,

why not try painting your stock lights, costs about $10 and 2 hours on your time.

then you have more money to put towards an Fx2 grill and exhaust

theres a write up in the how to section, its pretty easy to do, just takes some patience

Yeah yeah, your right.. I might read over that DIY on paint'n headlights again and see what I think, b/c yeah I could simply buy a Rousch Grille or FX2 with that money I spend on those lights.

But then I could just buy those headlights and sale my stock ones, dunno well see. Whats a good color when painting them myself, do I need to get a quality paint that wont be effected by the heat..

I had one of my Hella headlights leak and it kinda gets me upset that I paid $200.00 for them. One of them gets a little condensation in it if I go through a carwash but other than that they are not too bad. A member on here is painting them on here and doing it pretty cheap so you might try that too.

if you can get the hella's for $100 like you said in your first post, you can resell your stock lights and be close to breaking even.

when i painted mine, i used Rust-o-luem's flat black paint for metals. i ve used the krylon fusion paint for plastics before but i feel like the rustoluem paint has a nice texture, it seems thicker and holds up better. if you prep the surface well , you shouldnt have any problems.

I think Im going to wait and paint them myself, be a fun project to do and save some money. I am going to spend that money on something else, any suggestions on what to do next. Either...

-Saleen grille
-Roush grille
-High flow cats

all about the same price in the end really, any suggestions
