X2 but my throttle response was actually really good compared to my dads and my brother 5.4's stock but now i can just tap the throttle and it takes off but when i drive either my dads or my brothers i am not use to the lag and since my brother has an edge too i sometimes spin the tires a little

 

Im the same way. my brother has a 5.4, lifted, and im always finding myself gunning it around. its just something i got used to. if i ever really need to go, then i hit the gas. it seems to only hesitate under light push.
