Anyone with a Headache rack?

I'm looking to buy or build a headache rack for my truck and just looking for a little feedback. I have a super crew 5.5' bed and would like to keep the soft tonneu if possible. Something along these lines, but incoporate some reverse lights and match it to the body lines a little better.

I really like my headache rack... It will help keep the cab cooler in the summer months...

The third light is accommodated for... This unit is made by Go Industries... I'm not sure if it will work with your tonneau cover. Good luck.

How much does it stick above the cab? I'm pretty tight on the garage as it is now.

Can you post or email a picture or two of it? zk91@hotmail.com The ones I've seen so far aren't quite what I'm looking for.

It sticks up about one to two inches... You may be able to see that in this image...

Can you get a picture of the lower mount, how it attaches to the bed? I'm thinking I could make it work with my tonneau cover. I wonder what shipping would be like to Florida?

It shouldnt be much to ship. I paid $330 three months ago and my local truck shop for the back rack. So even if you ship it, ull still save alot. Once i pick my truck up from the dealership later this evenin, ill post those pics of the mounts. Mayb i could hook you up with good shippin. PM me and well talk prices after i post those pics if your still interested.

there really is no difference between the pro and backrack. they are relatively the same exact thing. both racks can be had for less than 400 dollars shipped from various vendors online. Just remember if you order one, and think you may get a toolbox later on, order the rack with the mounting brackets for a toolbox. if you dont the first time they are roughly 65 to 75 dollars if you order them later.

ZSK, the mounting is from the stake holes closest to the cab. there are bolts that bolt to the inside of the stakehole(if u have a bedliner it needs to be temporarily removed) and stick out the top. the adapters then are bolted to the top of the bolts from the stake hole, and the rack is slid between the 2 adapters and bolted through them. it is quite simple to install. took me 30min total to do.
