06 King Ranch...who made the tonneau cover
06 King Ranch...who made the tonneau cover
Fellas,
I'm in dire need of assistance. I bought a previously owned '06 King Ranch from a local Ford dealership. It had a tonneau cover on it that the dealer said came with it new from the factory. I lost several snaps to the point it is unusable. I hate to waste it and have to buy a new one because I can't find replacement snaps. Ford says they don't know who manufactured the tonneaus for them. I've sent the pic to a doz. places with no luck yet. Do any of you know who may have made the cover for Ford. I'd post a pic of the snap if I could. But if it would help, I could e-mail you a pic. I really appreciate the help. Thanks!!

I haven't seen a cover with snaps on it in the past 10 years or so. All Ford covers that I can remember do not have snaps on them, rather they use a vinyl rib that inserts in a track type depression in the bed rails. I personally think someone told you a fib, however I could be wrong.
The 2001/2002 King Ranch had a "King Ranch" accessory line that featured a KR-specific soft tonneau but, again, it wasn't factory -- only available through the stealerships.
As for your problem, check around with some of the local boat places -- or automotive upholstry shops. They will likely be able to get you taken care of with suitable replacements.
G'luck!
