Towing Mirrors!

I had these put on but ford said i would have to pay them an extra $350 to wire the blinkers and puddle lights because i guess my truck is not wired for it. I ripped them a new one and they went ahead and took care of it, just had to pay for the wiring harness. I was just about to just go wire it myself because i saw a guy on here that posted a thread about wiring his 06 towing mirrors. What do you guys think?

damn guy effed my bumper up! lol

Looks good!

I too have been considering this Is there anything different between the 04-08 and 09-10 tow mirrors besides wiring? I just need a set with signals because that is all I have currently.

I paid $400 for both and ford said they are plug and play. The mirrors are the same from 04 to recent models, but yes the wiring is different from year to year. you can get the wiring diagram from ford and you can wire it yourself and its not that big of a pain but ford said they would pay for it so im guna let them handle it! These are well worth the buck, i was tired of not being able to see cars next to me (blind spot) and these improve that by 100%! I can now see every thing when towing and changing lanes!

Did you buy them from Ford and have the dealer install for $400? Look great.

Looks good! I have been thinking about getting a set for my truck, so that way I don't have to mess with the shaky slide on towing mirrors I have now.

Just one question, what is dragging on the ground under your truck?

It is static strap that gets rid of the static in the truck so dust does not stick to it! Also helps with the static shock when getting out of your truck.

that looks awesome man

off-topic: for those static thingies, look at 90's Caddies and a few other high end cars. They all have them along the rear bumper area. The work wonders. I had one car that zapped the **** out of me each time I got out...these fixed it

Ya I was pretty skeptical about the whole static strap but my dad was the first to have one and we compared trucks after washing them a few days before and it was like night and day, thats what convinced me to get mine! ill post more pics when the blinker and puddle lights are working.

My truck came stock with them. I swapped in the PTM caps.
