Christmas Weekend!

These aren't the greatest, but I haven't shared anything new in some time so I feel I'm due!

Klamath National Forest:

Didn't go as far as I wanted to as the top layer of snow was a sheet of ice! Wasn't worth the risk as I had the whole family along for the ride!

This is my Son's first time in the snow! I think he liked it?!

He's a Ford man too...

Well unfortunately that is all I have!

Enjoy and as always thanks for viewing!

Cheers

Klamath is beautiful, I love that whole area up there. My family's ranch is east and south of Klamath in the Cascades, I drive a lot of the old logging roads in the early spring for firewood and Turkey hunting. Be careful out there though, some of those snow drifts are a lot deeper than they initially appear. I've been left sitting on frame with tires turning.

Nice pics!

I'm curious mSall150, What part of Northern California are you from? I was born and Raised in Happy Camp, CA!

When you say North and South of Klamath in the Cascades, where are you talking about? Klamath falls area? or the actual town of Klamath in CA?

Thanks for the comments!

Cheers

Its funny actually, I'm all over NorCal. I grew up in the Bay Area, spend summers on the ranch near Burney (Cascade area that I'm talking about, quite a ways southeast of Klamath), and go to school in Davis in the central valley.

Thanks for the comments 4x4wolf and Stealth, and for clearing that up mSall! The Klamath National Forest where these pics are taken is quite a bit farther west than where your talking about! But the country is indeed nice in either place!

Appreciate the comments as always!

Cheers
