Plese, plese tell me that no one has had trouble out of these on a 5.4L flex fuel.

silly me grabbed the wrong oil filter, I got the right oil 5-20 full syn, but I got the wrong fuel filter, and oil filter.

I put the O.E fuel filter back on, it seems to be fine, at 35K miles exactly, a littlle puff on it and fuel sprayed out the other end.

it just so happend that dad had a purolator filter, so we used it, I am very nervious, oil is very important, and I hope the filter does a good job, as soon as 3K rolls around its getting changed.

I took the fuel filter back and got a refund, but dad kept the oil filter, figured he could use it on something.

next time I will have to make sure I get the right fuel filter, at 50K I will change it, and the trans fulid and filter.

the oil still looks good, still clear as new, its slightly darker than new, but clear.

I guess the fuel filter on a 5.4L XLT flex fuel is not the same as lariat 5.4, oh well.

I was going to change the trans fulid now, but I ended up waiting untill 50K at the advice of my dad, and three other people, 35K is not much on a trans filtr and fulid I guess.

Much like the fuel filter that ended out to be very clean, at least it appeared that way.

I sure hope I got the right front brakes, wonder if there is any change between a laiart and a XLT of the same year on brakes, and i do not know if he looked up 4X4 or 2X4.
