Maybe I am the only one that has never seen this, but how many 2006 F150 Nascar trucks did they make? I had never seem or heard of one until I ran across the link below.

I've never seen that before, so very cool on the find!

Although, they made lots and lots of "Special Edition" models; for example my local dealer pushed the "Midwest Edition". I've also heard of the "Texas Edition" and up north the, "Wayne Gretzky Edition". Personally, I think that it would be cool have a thread for all the Special Editions. Name, photos, when/where they were available and any other info. It would be fascinating to see all the different versions out there (other than trim level).

Food for thought anyway.

I like the seats, but the wheels are hideous.

Those are regional specials that the dealerships "invent" to help sell product. None of it (to my knowledge) is certified as a Ford product. dealers like to go out, get a little custom work done, put a badge on it and mark it up 10 grand.

a few Florida-only stealerships did it down here a few years ago. its called the HEAT Mustang (after Miami heat). its a V6 mustang with GT wheels, leather seats, roush hood scoop, spoiler, and custom pinstriping. it rolled off the line as a basic V6 mustang. dealerships do all the work themselves

Well that makes since why there are so few of 'em, and so little information.

I dont remember ever seeing an '04+ Nascar edition but I know there were some '97-'03 Nascar editions.
2wd regular cab shortboxes with black Nascar wheels and some decals. I think there was a give away contest for one at Sears back in the day. I believe there were red and black trucks and possibly white ones too.
