If it is the delay install, I am still trying to figure that one out.
The cost is getting out of control with it.
The ELK-960 does not do what I need it to, and the Square D JCK relay is too expensive to make it doable for all.

If I don't use the JCK, it is going to be either 2 more ELK-960s or something along those lines, which the starting cost is ~ 90.00 for the autofold with delay.

Maybe I should ask, what is the highest cost for the autofold with delay someone would want to pay ?

Keep in mind the autofold part already requires 1 ELK-960, which is in the 25-30 range ( saw 1 listing for 19.95, don't know if I trust that listing ) + S/H, add to this the splices and wire, and the autofold modification is in the 40-50 range, depending on what you already have at home.

The autofold w/ delay with 3 ELK-960 relays is going to be in the 100.00 range, and the autofold delay with the JCK relay will be in the 180.00 range ( and less moving parts / easier install ).

I am trying to keep the cost of the parts members have to source for the install at a reasonable price.

KEEP IN MIND : This is a DIY install, I do not sell any of this, I am just supplying the diagram and the help with the install.

Trying to look from the outside in, a parts list of 180.00 I thought was too much for this, maybe I need a reality check on that.

G'day guys,

I'm not an F150 owner, although I do share a similar interest on this topic...

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/for...t-t295040.html

Fords and Nissans might share a similar design with their wing mirror extend/retract feature. If this is the case, I might be able to give you a little help on the subject.

Goodluck. Keen to know how you go with it!

Cheers.

This is using the Elk Security delay relay-960. The price seems to be 25-30 each for them.

I want to recheck the delay operation diagram 1 more time prior to posting. This setup would require 2 ELK-960 delay relays.
9 years ago but still current thanks for the write up I ordered my relays and will post when finished
