Nitto Trail Grapplers?

Anyone have them? If so how do you like them as far as road noise, performace, wear (so far), etc. My Terra Grapplers are on their last leg and the Trail Grapplers are looking VERY nice right now. Just a little weary on being the guiney pig.

well my friend has them on his 03 2500HD silverado 6.0 v8. with a 10.5 lift on 38's . and he has had them for only about a year and a half and they have worn down to about.. 75% tread. and you can hear em. there just not like loud. it gives you a little drove. if u have an exhaust you cant here it to much. mud there not as good as let say. bfgood km2 mud terrains. there more of a. hey theres a random trail over there. lets go on it. and you realy dont need 4 wheel drive with these tires. ride quaility is kinda hard but expected. thats all i can think of

I really like the Terra Grapplers my self. They are quiet, good on ice and snow, decent for a little mud, and handle well. Are you needing a better mud tire?

They are just as good as the Toyo M/Ts, Toyo manufactures Nitto.

Next time put this in the proper wheels and tires section.

Don't agree.

I've had both on two different AND same vehicles [more than once] and they were far from "just as good" as one or the other.

Are you a Mod or Admin?

What he said. The "proper section" gets hardly any activity. These are tires released in september of 2009.

So does anyone have any experience with them or am I just gonna get to test them out and see for myself. Lol.

You said they are compared to the Toyo's. What is the lifespan on the Toyo similar style?

And I got about 45,000 on my nittos so far and they are getting close. I may be able to get a few more out of them, but by then they will start to become dangerous in wet conditions. They already suck in mud, although they were never very good to begin with lol.

Its also strange that these the Trail Grapplers are actually cheaper than the Terra Grapplers.

I agree, the sections that split out from the year-model forums get very little traffic.

I purchased mine as soon as they came out and have had them on for approx. 3500 miles. I went from the mud graps which i got 55000 miles out of. They are much quieter than the muds, handle better in the rain, and are way smoother on the road. The only difference is the looks, they look taller and thinner because the side lugs are smaller. Other than the looks they are awesome. BTW I have 35x12.50x20. Check out my gallery. If you have any ?'s let me know.
