They always recommend stuff that you do not need. That is how they make their money. I quit going to those places several years ago because I could never get an oil change without them saying I need to do something else to my truck. Dealerships change oil for a competitive price atleast in my area that is.

 

Just make sure they put the plug back in. Texaco Express Lube did that to my wife's explorer. Needless to say, it's got a new rearend....
