I am glad we chose carmax, we have issues that never got fixed with a previous dealer on our expedition. At least i know carmax will fix everything... So far it's the driver door not closing without slamming and now this problem...

Will be calling first thing in the AM...

Yeah, it would be nice to buy new or close to new... But when you do not finance, it makes every dollar count sometimes...

Plus, there was no since in ruining a new truck in my line of work... I just put 50K on a Jeep in a little over a year and a half... I am hopin this ford will hold up to that now... eeek!

Good luck on getting everything fixed. Last thing you want it something tearing up as you're trying to enjoy your new truck. :-)

Yeah, I got about 30% off MSRP on a cheaper truck that I plan to keep for many years with about 12K miles a year, so it works for me, but not everyone. I paid cash also, but plan to make it last.

Welp... Took it in today and Carmax couldn't fix it so they have to send out to have transmission work done...

I have about 2 days when I get it back to make a decision on keep it or get out before I am stuck with another problem...

I know it depends on the problem and how they fix it or completely replace it, but what would you do?? I still have the Jeep with 143K on it that is now fixed...

I know I will put a lot of miles on an already high mileage truck (85K) so I just don't wanna be dealing with a 'lemon'...

The impression I get from your text above is that you don't trust that this is the only problem that the truck has and that you're concerned about the mileage because of how many miles you plan to put on it.

If I had your same feelings, I'd be looking for another truck with lower miles.
