Depends how crazy you get. If you push it or even question the thought of doing it then it is highly likely that something will be broken. If you are just going through mud or riding a few trails then you should be okay.

If I second guess myself then I dont do it when off roading. Havnt broke anything yet...(knocks on wood)

i go through little mudholes and stuff but never even close to getting stuck. i follow my friends out on the trail but i park it, jump out and ride with them in the rough stuff i dont want to see her ridin home on a wrecker. i just had a iwe problem and i have only put in in 4wd twice. just wondering if that was a clue of the 4wd's weakness.

not a problem.

I bent my skidplates to hell and back in my 06 FX4...and layed frame along rocks doing some 4x4 in the Seattle area

did awesome out here in the Volcano rocks and Island mud.

add in that my 5.4 3v was Supercharged...the 4x4 system is pretty strong. I had my old truck on 2 wheels several times without any issues. Just those stupid paper thin skid plates

I have only had mine in the mud once. It was just after I installed my Cooper Zeon LTZ tires...damn the truck was awesome. Didn't get stuck once, and this mud was sticky and deep(almost up to the center caps on my 20" wheels)! My truck dug right through, and got me to the other side!

Just keep in mind that if you have your wheels turned trying to bump up an embankment, that you don't hammer the throttle...that is what breaks stuff...being in a bind and throwing a ton of power at once to it...Good luck out there!

the mud will get inside your rear bumper and stay there... make sure you pressure wash EVERYWHERE when you are done mudding... The auto car wash is a waste of 9.00 and does not get 1/8th of the thick stuff off your truck....

when in doubt, throttle out!

you shouldn't have any trouble i have had my truck stuck a couple of times cause i was stupid and didn't think the whole was that deep i have even high centered my truck on the frame and had to drag it out and it rode home like a champ, my brother has gotten his jeep stuck in some crazy spots and i would have to get in there to get him out but never had anytroubles even when i bent my hitch on some rocks one time from hitting them so hard, didn't do it on purpose but it is a truck and they are built for that kinda stuff just don't over do it and be safe when you do
