Cuz, leveling your truck doesn't just involve lifting the front. You can also level by lowering the rear. Just another consideration that doesn't tie you into larger rubber to fill the void in the wheel well.

Yes Sir, I considered that but want the tougher more aggressive look of sitting a little higher.
Thanks for the heads up!

If that makes since...

I am not a fan of the higher in the front look and often I've found sometimes the truck is level but it looks higher in the front...
I feel the same way. Do you do much towing? People who tow a lot tend to like the 1.5" kit because they don't get that "nose up" look when loaded up. If you don't tow often, I'd go with a 2.0" kit if I were you. Neither kit should affect towing capacity, so no worries there.

Are you planning on putting on larger tires down the road?

Might put larger tires on but no time soon. Just put new 285-70-17 on.
I tow a small camper about 2-3 times a year. I do though often have a couple hundred pounds of feed and what not in the bed...

I have a 2006 King Ranch Screw. I just put a 2" AS level kit on last weekend and got it aligned yesterday. Before the kit, there was about 2.5" difference from front to back. With the 2" AS level kit on, it puts the front and back at the same height. I love the new look. I will post pics as soon as I can. I parked it for the winter now to help keep the salt off it. Its killing me to have it parked now. I will be putting lager tires on in the spring.

2006 KR Screw
Borla Exhaust
Volant Intake
Kenwood DVD Player and Nav.

Not sure of the weights, but my truck is built for hunting trips... With 18 bags of feed corn for the deer feeders, my truck sits dead level with the 2.5" leveling kit.

From what I have notice though the 2004-2005 rear end sits higher than the 06-08.With the newer ones, I would probably go with a 1.5" spacer, 2" at most...

excellent point

with a 04-05 truck you can run a 2.5" kit and it will sit with a very tiny rake

with a 06-08 truck you need to run a 2" kit. anything bigger and the truck is likely to sit nose high.
I had that problem with my 06. I installed a 2.5" and the front end was just a tiny smidge higher than the rear.

the AS 3" blocks for $125 gave the rear another 1" and would have corrected the nose high issue, but I sold the truck prior to installing.

I suggest you try a 2" kit. then if the nose is too high, grab the AS 3" rear blocks that will replace your OEM 1 5/8" (2") block for about 1" of extra rear hieght.

INDENT,

You know after ALL the research I've done on this, and I've done a lot, I think I've come to this exact conclusion. I think I'm going to pickup the 2" and go from there...

Yeah, as i recall, they used a 4 leaf pack on 04 and 05's and switched to the 3 leaf packs for 06+.

I posted some pictures of my 06 King Ranch with a 2" AS leveling kit. The difference was about 2.5" before the kit was installed. It sets level now.
Was unable to post it here, new at this site. I have not put bigger tires on it yet, I have it parked in the garage for the winter. Check out my pics.
